Sierra Embroidery
"Working on our own has been a challenge, but over the years we have learned to improve in order to give our clients confidence in our work.

?Hello, we are Sierra Embroidery! Promoting the work of local artisans did not happen overnight; it required effort and above all love for what you do. As we have worked in this artisanal field, we have realized how the economic crises have affected both other businesses and ours. Diseases that arise, and other circumstances such as the current epidemic, have affected us all in some way. But we have not given way to defeat because the faith, hope and desire with which we work allows us to continue with this wonderful task.

?From the moment our interest and love for design was born, we didn't want to stop.
We work hand in hand with artisans from the Sierra Madre, who are dedicated to the elaboration of designs inspired by nature itself. They are in charge of the elaboration of our garments, from tracing patterns, cutting textiles, and putting a stamp on the fabrics that serves as a guide to continue with the next step, which is embroidery. Sometimes the designs vary, but when we seek to maintain the same design it can still vary slightly, because it is a handcrafted piece and different artisans may work on them.

?Having your family around also helps you form a good work team. It makes you a more responsible person, by appointing each one to perform in a position and each one doing their best, continuing to contribute ideas and work with passion for what they do.

?Our materials vary occasionally. We work with pre-washed denim, cotton and threads of different colors to give more life and quality to each piece that will not be affected by each washing. It is important to mention that our artisans shape their designs according to their sensitivity, and that it can vary and be very personalized.

?In these uncertain times, we work with the aim of reaching many places, and surprising people with Mexican art. The artisans' love for making things and the dreams that we carry in our minds can be reflected in our good embroidery.?
