Gulam Rasool evokes Agra elegance with an oil warmer resembling an ancient temple standing on owl pillars. Rasool carves the oil warmer by hand from soapstone, expertly preserving the stone's natural color as he details the owls and the leafy openwork or jali.

Fabulous owls to delight our home :)

This beautifully decorated package made me smile as I noted the heft of the carving inside, and I couldn?t wait to unwrap my new treasure. The substantial striated stone and intricate character carving makes this sculpture a unique piece of art. The artisan is truly gifted and shares such a fine skill via the likable faces of wise owls. I am about to order several more for gifts.

I wanted to try this as a natural way to diffuse scented oils. It works well and it's lovely.
