Insert Coin, Please

In this whimsical and contemporary painting by Balinese artist Anton Papo, a person's head becomes a piggy bank. A hand reaches in from the side to insert a coin into the slot in the person's head. Says Papo, 'I visualize a money box in someone's head and a coin being inserted into it. I symbolize it with '$,' inspired by how valuable a coin is for people. Even though a coin is small, if you save them regularly they will amount to a lot.' The painting reads 'insert coin please.'
