Oviform Owl in Black and White

This owl seems a bit confused over whether the bird or the egg came first, as he is a bit of both. He is carved from copal wood into a sculpture style called alebrije,, famous in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. He is created and signed by carvers Gerardo and Teresa Ojeda.
