As an artisan, Saktut Raitawati is always seeking out new ways to empower women who have a talent for crafting but need to work from home. This is one of her hand made cotton batik robes, which captures the subtlety of rosy pebbles shimmering at the bottom of a river. The design, which works well for lounging or can even be used as a daring wrap jacket, features two side pockets, three-quarter length sleeves, and a self-tie belt.

Gorgeous fabric

This is a beautiful robe, and I love that it?s cotton. I wish it were longer, however, say mid calf. And it would also be helpful to have belt loops.

The colors of this robe are just a vivid as the picture depicts. The cotton fabric is wonderful for summer weather and the length is perfect for warm weather. I love having pockets in my robe and so appreciate that this one has one on each side.

The fabric is amazingly beautiful. After its first washing it is a little stiff but is fresh cotton. I imagine it will soften a bit. Could use a belt loops.
