Inspired by the colors of Amazonian rainforests and the ancient weaving traditions of the Altiplano, Peru’s Isidoro C’cahuantico designs this inviting alpaca-blend ruana. The ombré hues deepen from kelly green to dark navy on one side, and reverse from navy to green on the other.

This Ruana is absolutely stunning in person. I bought it as a birthday gift for a very good friend and I know she's going to love it! The colors are beautiful, the way they fade into each other and this will help keep her toasty warm on Northern California chilly nights.

Cool colors for a warm garment

The blend of colors in this garment give it an intriguing aspect as if you cannot quite capture the hue. The heft is substantial so it will give warmth on a cool evening. It is an intended Christmas gift which I hope my daughter will revere.

Not Really Reversible

There was a white label sewn in on one side. Unless you remove that label, there is no way you can wear it on the other side. I spent 20 minutes removing that label for that very reason. Perhaps if you made the label match the same color as the garment? I have purchased ruanas that had the care label color-coded to the fabric. Other than this issue, the colors are beautiful, I can?t wait to wear it!
