The Owl's Secret

I bought this for my brother who loves owls. I have a silver necklace I will hide inside for his birthday. The owl is so cute and well made. Taking it apart and putting it back together is fun. I know he will love it!

There is a story to Owls in my family, it goes like this. My Father had one for a pet when he was a child and when it died his Father taxidermied it on a stick. and my very wise Father passed it to my older brother. It hung in his bedroom in the corner for our whole childhoods. I don't know what happened to it, but today sadly we closed up the house because my father has passed on. I bought this for my brother so he could perhaps remember our childhood with some fondness.

The owl is a gift for my nephew who lives a distance away and will not receive the gift for another week or two. However, if I could rate the packaging, I would give it a 5-star rating. The gift wrap is unique and quite beautiful -- almost like a gift itself. I wish I could take a peek, but I will have to wait until after he receives it.

Bought several of these as "grab bag" gifts for family. They were a big hit :)
