Nesting Bird

The unique forms of benalu wood, related to the mistletoe, lend themselves to the original sculptures of Yudi Suardi. Here, benalu wood evokes a bird's nest, above which a mama bird warily guards her eggs. The bird is carved by hand from jempinis wood with a natural finish.
