The Jet Age ushered in a new era for military flight jackets. The leather and shearling of an earlier generation were too bulky for streamlined cockpits full of new technology, and advances in man-made fabrics meant pilots could stay warm without being weighed down. Our version of the MA-1 bomber jacket has the rib knit hem and cuffs and waist-length, zip-up style of the original, with a Thermoluxe® lining that’s as insulating as 600 fill down. The faux shearling collar and hood both zip off for customizable warmth. Imported.
