Hand crafted from native suar wood, the intricate detailing of Buddha's hair, face, and clothing is truly exquisite. The pose in which Buddha sits is traditionally known as akaash mudra, which is believed by some to increase spiritual power.

I found this statuette to meet or exceed my expectations. It will be placed at an alter for my Buddhist group. I am not an expert on carvings, but I could tell a lot of work and care was used in creating it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a Buddha for worship. It will always be treated with respect.

I was in tears when It arrived because it was so beautiful. Exactly as pictured but, in person even better. I can't say enough about the talent of this artist. He is truly blessed. I will purchase from this artist again.
