Description

Shaped like an elongated almond, this violet and black mask is elegant and beautiful. Theophilus Sackey carves the piece from sese wood, paints it by hand and leaves carved out details in a cream hue. Vertical lines in parallel represent neatly combed hair, where a mighty African elephant stands out. Below, another elephant is revealed by Sackey.

I received my package today and saw the pretty wrapping then I opened it up and I lost my breath because this mask is so breath taking!!! The picture is not showing how amazing this work of art is, I LOVE IT!!!! I am going to purchase more! You just have to see it in person OMG!! I am so happy right now! When I come to Ghana I am going to find Theophilus and purchase at least 5 to 7 pieces of his work, I must have more I love it that much!!!
