Intricate flower and vine patterns inspired by 19th-century textiles grace this petal-pink tunic. The designs are digitally printed to evoke the well-loved look of heirloom weavings. Cotton embroidery along the button neckline are a nod to the exquisite chikankari embroidery work of artisan Shalabh’s hometown of Lucknow.

Pluses and minuses of embroidered tunic

Very nice looking tunic, with hand embroidery as described. Light texture which is great for warm climates, like Miami. However there were numerous loose threads from the hand embroidery on the underside that were not knotted/secure. I used A tiny amount of superglue to secure each of these loose threads on the underside. It causes a slight scratch on my skin when I wear it, but I think they will perform well long-term. Definitely a disadvantage for this product.

This is by far the nicest top I?ve ever ordered! The picture doesn?t do it justice! Beautiful details. Fits well. The fabric is heavenly. I?m so happy!!
